I’ve just finally had a moment or two to play with a gadget that’s been on my desk for a while, namely my Solio charger.

I’ve had a fascination with solar energy for a while, and have been looking at ways in which we can use it in our office.  As it’s a sunny day here, I placed the Solio in the window, plugged in the right adapter plugs and it’s charging my phone.  The charger, with the solar panels in it (the three pronged star in the window) folds down to a small shape that makes it easy to travel with.

It looks like it might be a useful gadget to have around.  I’ll post more about it as I use it over the next few weeks (assuming it stays sunny!).
